A Collaborative Scientific Paper Published by an Instructor from the University of Basra at a National Conference

Assistant Lecturer Abbas Fadhel Al-Sultan, a faculty member at the College of Engineering (Department of Mechanical Engineering) and Head of the Media Division, published a scientific paper in the Department of Physics, South Tehran Branch of the Islamic Azad University (Khomeini Branch), at the Third National Conference on Productivity of Renewable Energy Systems.

The paper was indexed in the ICS and CIVILICA databases and was presented by Professor Ali Reza Mousavi Shirazi.

This paper was extracted from the master's thesis of Assistant Lecturer Abbas Al-Sultan, titled: "Clean and Renewable Energy for Domestic Use According to the Situation in Iraq." The study focuses on photovoltaic systems under the hot climate conditions of Basra City, with data simulation based on key information evaluated using MATLAB's SIMULINK software.

The research utilized a system capable of receiving solar energy and converting it into electricity for commercial and residential applications. The results emphasize that photovoltaic arrays installed on a residential roof can fulfill the required energy for household use.

The primary contribution of this work lies in proving the feasibility of reducing biological pollution through reliance on energy sources that can be identified and utilized in each country according to its capacities.

This study provides practical insights for mechanical engineers, renewable energy engineers, and professionals in the field. It introduces a methodology for implementing an efficient energy system aimed at enhancing user experience and promoting sustainable energy system practices. Furthermore, the research discusses ethical issues related to minimizing environmental damage.
