The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah welcomed a delegation from the Engineers Syndicate – Basrah Branch, headed by Engineer Karar Hafidh Al-Abadi, the Syndicate President in Basrah. The delegation was received by Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rasheed, Dean of the College.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed avenues of cooperation between the syndicate and the college in both academic and professional fields. Emphasis was placed on the importance of enhancing engineering skills for students and graduates, as well as organizing joint workshops and training courses to support the engineering sector in the province
