The University of Basra, represented by the College of Engineering, discussed ways to enhance joint scientific and academic cooperation with Tarbiat Modarresi University in Iran.

This took place through an introductory workshop attended by a number of professors and graduate students.

The workshop included a video presentation about the Iranian university's facilities and laboratories, in addition to an explanation of the graduate programs available to master's and doctoral students.

The workshop discussed opportunities for joint supervision and the implementation of practical research components in the partner university's laboratories.

The two sides also emphasized the importance of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two universities in 2022, as a framework for future cooperation in exchanging expertise and establishing joint research projects.
