The College of Engineering at the University of Basra received a delegation from the Chinese company Anton Oil, which specializes in oil services. This visit aims to enhance scientific and practical cooperation between the university and the industrial and energy sectors.

During the visit, a field tour was organized of the college's departments and scientific laboratories. The delegation was briefed on the college's infrastructure, research laboratories, and available technologies. Prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of training, development, and engineering applications related to the oil sector were also discussed.

The college affirmed its commitment to opening channels of communication with reputable international companies, which contributes to supporting its students and staff with modern field expertise and enhancing training and employment opportunities in the industrial sector.
