Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, and the Director of the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department at the University of Basra, Mr. Jabbar Amin Jaber, the College of Engineering at the University of Basra held a charity bazaar titled "The Martyrs of the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Resistance Bazaar," in cooperation with the Iraqi Bravery Team for Development.

The bazaar aims to support orphans and needy families by allocating the proceeds of the sale to them. It featured a variety of products, handicrafts, artwork, books, and symbolic gifts contributed by students and faculty members, as well as several participating community organizations.

The Dean of the College emphasized that this activity falls within the University of Basra's social responsibility and its efforts to instill a culture of social solidarity. He praised the efforts of the organizers and participants in making this initiative a success, which embodies the spirit of giving and national belonging.
