As part of strengthening academic cooperation between the colleges of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Faleh Mahdi Musa and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Farhan Ajami from the College of Engineering lectured at a scientific workshop held at the College of Agriculture entitled "Mechanism for Implementing the Electronic System for Academic Promotions."
The workshop aimed to introduce the steps and mechanisms for implementing the electronic system for academic promotions and explain the mechanism for entering data and tracking promotion transactions via the digital platform. This will contribute to facilitating procedures and achieving transparency and accuracy in academic work.
The two lecturers also addressed the most prominent challenges that faculty members may face when interacting with the system, offering practical proposals and solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure smooth implementation.

The workshop was well-received by attendees, who praised the distinguished academic level of the lecturers and the pioneering role of the College of Engineering in supporting digital transformation and developing academic and administrative performance at the University of Basra.
