Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Jalil Ismail, Assistant Dean of the College for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Odhaid Habib Taha, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, honored the teams that placed first and second in the Dean's Cup Table Tennis Championship for the college's departments. The Oil and Gas Engineering Department team won first place, and the Mechanical Engineering Department team took second place.

During his honoring of the students, Dr. Munir stated that the College Deanship continues to support the college's teams and prioritize internal tournaments, as they constitute the fundamental pillar in building the college team capable of representing the college in university sports tournaments.
Dr. Odhaid also emphasized that the College looks forward to the college's teams regaining their position as competitive teams in university competitions. He expressed his happiness with the achievement of the College of Engineering teams in the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, with the college team winning first place in the University Quran Competition and second place in the University Olympic Swimming Competition, thanks to the efforts of the Student Activities Division and student athletes.
