The Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufeed Turki Rashid, received the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, during his inspection visit to the College of Engineering.

The University President reviewed the procedures for registering new students at the College, in addition to monitoring the College's preparations for the new academic year, including the completion of registration requirements and the provision of a suitable service environment for students.

During his tour, he also discussed several administrative and organizational aspects and commended the efforts made by the College's administration and staff in preparing for the academic year in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
