The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held its annual evaluation conference, which was attended by high-ranking officials, including the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Al-Asadi, and the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Khazal Mahbas.

The conference comprised two main themes:

The scientific theme, presented by the Dean's Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Jalil Ismail, addressed research achievements, curriculum updates, and the activities of the academic departments.

The administrative theme, presented by the Dean's Assistant for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Sarmad Abdullah Abbas, included an evaluation of the college's administrative and logistical performance and plans for developing the university environment.

The conference concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of academic and administrative performance and supporting the college's scientific progress to keep pace with the development requirements of Iraqi universities.
