The College of Engineering at the University of Basra held a workshop titled "Networks Used in Modern Control Systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS)."

The Continuing Education Division at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, organized a two-day scientific workshop titled "Networks Used in Modern Control Systems (SCADA, PLC, DCS)." The workshop was presented by Assistant Lecturer Inam Abdul Hussein from the Computer Engineering Department.

The workshop covered the most important industrial networks used in modern control systems, the mechanisms of connection and communication within SCADA, PLC, and DCS systems, and their role in improving the efficiency of operation, monitoring, and control in industrial and energy facilities.

The workshop was held in cooperation with the General Company for Electricity Production/Southern Region, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between the university and government sectors and to develop the skills of participants in technical and engineering fields.
