Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Basra, visited the Al-Wa'i Book Fair, held at the Grand Al-Musawi Mosque, to view the most prominent publications and titles on display in various cultural, scientific, and intellectual fields.

This visit came within the framework of supporting cultural activities and promoting interest in reading and spreading intellectual awareness among members of society. The Dean praised the importance of holding such fairs, which contribute to establishing a culture of reading and encouraging younger generations to acquire knowledge.

Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid emphasized that books remain the cornerstone of building awareness and developing thought, noting the College of Engineering's commitment to supporting cultural initiatives that enhance the university's role in serving the community and consolidating scientific and human values.
