The College of Engineering at the University of Basra Organizes a Group Iftar for Residents of the Al-Tarham Home for the Elderly

The Ishraq Cultural Team, affiliated with the Chemical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, organized a charitable initiative that included a group iftar and the donation of food supplies to the residents of the Al-Tarham Home for the Elderly. This initiative aimed to promote the values ​​of social solidarity and humanitarian work during the holy month of Ramadan.

The initiative was characterized by an atmosphere of cooperation and generosity among the participating students, who were keen to provide support and assistance to the residents of the home, emphasizing the students' role in serving the community and upholding humanitarian values.

The team also expressed its gratitude to the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Khairallah, for his support and encouragement of these humanitarian initiatives, as well as its appreciation to all the students and donors who contributed to the success of this charitable campaign.
