Professor Dr. Mufeed Turki Rashid, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Basra, conducted a field visit to the college's departments to monitor the digital transformation procedures and the mechanisms for implementing modern electronic systems in academic and administrative work.

During the visit, the Dean met with a number of students, urging them to activate their accounts on the SIS system and utilize the electronic services it provides, given its important role in organizing the educational process and accurately and efficiently monitoring students' academic progress.

The Dean was accompanied on this visit by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Munir Abdul Jalil Ismail. Both parties reviewed the students' use of the electronic system and emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of digital transformation within the college, in line with the directives of the University of Basra and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to develop the educational environment and adopt modern electronic systems
