The College of Engineering at the University of Basra Launches a Fundraising Campaign to Aid the Iranian and Lebanese People in Response to the Call of the Supreme Religious Authority

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kadhim, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufeed Turki Rashid, the College of Engineering launched a humanitarian campaign to collect donations to aid the Iranian and Lebanese people. This initiative comes in response to the call of the Supreme Religious Authority to support affected populations and provide them with humanitarian assistance.

The campaign witnessed broad participation from faculty, staff, and students of the college, who generously contributed donations, demonstrating their solidarity and embodying the ethical values ​​that call for supporting people in times of hardship.

The Dean's Office of the College affirmed that this initiative stems from the social and humanitarian responsibility of academic institutions and their commitment to promoting a culture of volunteerism and relief work. The Dean's Office commended the significant response shown by the college's members to the campaign.

The campaign will run for one week to receive donations, contributing to alleviating the suffering of those affected in both the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Lebanese Republic.
