The College of Engineering at the University of Basra organizes a scientific trip for first-year students

The College of Engineering at the University of Basra organized a field trip for first-year students in the Civil Engineering Department to Al-Jawhara Residential City. This trip aimed to enhance the students' practical skills and connect theoretical concepts with real-world applications.

The trip included a field visit where students observed ongoing infrastructure and construction projects. They learned about the various stages of residential project implementation, road design and construction methods, water and sewage networks, and the engineering supervision techniques employed at construction sites.

The supervising engineering staff at the site provided a detailed explanation of the nature of the work and the challenges involved in project implementation, emphasizing the importance of adhering to engineering standards and specifications to ensure quality execution.

This trip reflects the college's commitment to developing students' field skills and preparing them scientifically and practically to meet the demands of the engineering job market.
