The Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, organized a field visit for third-year students, accompanied by several faculty members, to the site of a shed project in the Hamdan Industrial Area. This visit was part of the requirements for the Building Construction course.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with the stages of structural construction and to provide them with practical experience of the construction systems used at the site. This approach contributes to enhancing their practical understanding and connecting the theoretical aspects they learn in the classroom with real-world applications.
This visit is part of a series of scientific activities that the department is keen to organize, recognizing their important role in developing students' skills and enhancing their field experience through direct engagement with engineering project sites.
