The College of Engineering at the University of Basra welcomed Dr. Shukr Al-Amiri, a member of the Basra Provincial Council and head of its Finance and Administration Committee, in the presence of the Dean of the College and several faculty members.

The meeting addressed several issues of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of supporting academic institutions and strengthening cooperation to contribute to the development of the educational and service environment at the College.

Dr. Shukr Al-Amiri also commended the scientific and academic role played by the College of Engineering in preparing engineering professionals and supporting higher education in Basra Governorate.
