The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Basrah, held a special ceremony to honor a group of distinguished professors. Organized by the department head and with the participation of students, the ceremony recognized their significant scientific contributions and rigorous research efforts, which have enhanced the university's standing in reputable international databases (Scopus and Clarivate) and raised the indicators of scientific publication and academic excellence.
