Professor Dr. Mufeed Turki Rashid, Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Basra, received Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, President of the Southern Technical University, to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to develop joint cooperation in scientific and research fields and exchange academic expertise, contributing to the advancement of the educational process and the achievement of shared goals in serving students and the community.

The two sides also discussed the importance of expanding cooperation in scientific and training programs and supporting activities that contribute to developing the skills of students and researchers, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's directives to enhance integration between universities and educational institutions.

At the conclusion of the visit, both sides expressed their commitment to continued communication and cooperation to serve the scientific and academic progress and achieve the public interest.
