The College of Engineering at the University of Basra welcomed a delegation from the Chinese company Anton Oil, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation and develop partnership opportunities in scientific and training fields.

The visit included a tour of the laboratories of the Department of Petroleum and Gas Engineering, as well as the laboratories of the Department of Chemical Engineering. The delegation was briefed on the laboratory facilities and modern equipment used to support the educational process and scientific research. They also received a detailed explanation of the nature of the laboratories and how they are used in student training and applied research.

This visit reflects the College of Engineering's commitment to strengthening cooperation with international companies operating in the oil and energy sector, which contributes to supporting academic and practical aspects and preparing students and graduates for the job market.
