The College of Engineering at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the university's Science and Technology Parks Department and Al-Houshan Company, held a first aid training course as part of its programs aimed at developing practical skills and promoting health awareness among students and graduates.

The course included theoretical lectures and practical applications covering the basic principles of first aid, mechanisms for dealing with various emergencies and injuries, and methods for providing proper initial care until the arrival of specialized medical teams.

The course aimed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and skills that enable them to act appropriately in emergency situations, thus contributing to promoting a culture of safety and spreading health awareness within the university and workplaces.
