The College of Engineering continues to host seminars and workshops to introduce the Erasmus program, coinciding with the opening of the application period this November. A second seminar was held to clarify the requirements of this promising program and to encourage final-year students—the primary target group—to take advantage of these academic and research scholarships to pursue a Master’s degree at European universities. The seminar provided a comprehensive overview of the application process, eligibility criteria, and required documentation, while highlighting the benefits and financial exemptions offered by the program. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, during which students’ questions and inquiries were addressed.
The seminar was moderated by Dr. Hamid Hayab Samir, a lecturer and the College of Engineering’s representative on the University of Basrah’s Erasmus Committee. This series of seminars and workshops regarding the program is scheduled to continue throughout the coming week.
