The Chancellor of the University of Basrah, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, visited the College of Engineering, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Jalal Jabbar Hassan, and they were received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ramzi Salem Ali, and the assistants and heads of scientific departments.

Where the number of students who took the competitive examination for the doctoral and master's studies was 96 students.

The nature of the exam questions was reviewed in terms of their comprehensiveness and the adoption of the foundations set by the Ministry for this type of questions.

Students were also asked about the nature, comprehensiveness and suitability of the questions for the exam time

Safety measures, social distancing and wearing masks were reviewed.

A live broadcast was also made by the Chancellor  of the University of Basrah to the exams follow-up room for the ministerial team in the ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to inform them of the progress of the competitive exam for today..

At the end of the visit, the Chancellor of the University thanked the College of Engineering for the good organization of the competitive exam and the application of safety and social distancing.
