A delegation from the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, headed by the Chancellor of the University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ramzy Salim Ali, and a number of consultant professors from the College of Engineering visited the Al-Askaria Holy Shrine in Samarra city.

The purpose of the visit was to review the implemented projects and to provide technical and consulting support to the Holy Shrine by the consulting team. The Chancellor of the University of Basrah decided to form a permanent consulting committee to enhance the provision of consulting and design services to the Holy Shrine.
