The student, Zahra Saad Lahd, and the student, Methal Jameel within the Department of Computer Engineering at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, presented a graduation project entitled (Smart Photovoltaic Energy System) under the supervision of Dr. Wasan Wali.

The project dealt with several axes

The first is to solve the electricity crisis at the present time. Solar cells and a smart meter are connected to each house to provide enough electrical energy to operate all electrical devices. Also, in the event of a surplus of energy, it is transferred to the national electricity in exchange for material wages. In the event of a need for energy, the electricity is taken from the national electricity as well. The project is used to ship cars

As for the second axis, it

is connected to the router and access to the Internet

The aim of the project is to obtain clean energy (associated with the environment) that does not cause any pollution or noise, as well as at lower prices.
