The Competitive examinations for postgraduate students was inspected by The President of the University of Basra, Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ramzi Salem Ali, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Jabbar Hassan, and the Academic Dean Assistant Prof. Dr. Haider Maath and the Director of Graduate Studies Dr. Osama Jassem Naim.

 During his tour, the president was informed of all the preparations made by the college and the requirements that were provided to enable students to perform their competitive exams in an appropriate atmosphere.

The tour included inspecting the examination halls, air conditioning systems, and arranging students separately to match the precautionary measures to confront the Corona pandemic.
