PhD thesis at the University of Basrah discussing (design and implementation of an automatic delivery system)

I discussed a PhD thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah (Design and implementation of an automatic delivery system using Quadrotor and based on an automatic delivery system based on GPS and GSM networks)

The thesis presented by the student Ahmed Abdul-Mahdi Abdul-Karim Al-Awsi dealt with solving two problems of the delivery system using Quadrotor, namely the interruption of the GPS signal during the flight of the plane, as well as the problem of the last mile LMP. As a solution to the last mile problem

The thesis aims to solve the problems faced by the delivery system using the Quadrotor.

The thesis concluded that the simulation results of the multi-mode control algorithm show that this algorithm is very successful and suitable for various Quadcopter applications and the GSB smart box is very reliable and practical that helped solve most of the secondary problems associated with the last mile problem such as securing the parcel until the customer arrives, securing the Qaudcopter from theft or tampering during landing Providing a safe and common place for different customers to land the Quadcopter, doubling the delivery distance by adding plugs to recharge the battery in the place of its landing on the roof of the smart box, calculating the best path between the delivery service centers and smart boxes distributed in residential areas for the Quadcopter to travel without obstacles
