The Department of Electrical Engineering seeks to fulfill the needs of the Iraqi community and the region of electrical engineers by providing high quality programs in education, scientific research and community service.

Department goals:-

The educational objectives of the Department of Electrical Engineering focus on providing (knowledge, skills, and behavior) to the graduates of the department so that they are able to work and progress in the shortest possible time. In order to accomplish this task, the department has identified the following educational objectives:

To ensure that the student possesses the skills and knowledge required to design, operate and test electrical systems and to be able to solve emerging problems in electrical engineering.
The student should be able to adapt to and deal with different work environments through communication skills and the ability to work positively within multidisciplinary teams.
The student should be able to integrate academic knowledge with field practice in order to develop the engineering profession within the framework of social values ​​and professional ethics.
The student should be able to continue developing his knowledge and skills for life and benefit from everything new in the field of specialization.
Refining the student's personality through extra-curricular activities and creating an environment conducive to creativity and innovation.
