The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, in cooperation with the Schlumberger Oil Company, organized interviews with college students in order to select a group of qualified students for summer training.

Ahmed Aktham Taha, Director of Employment and University Relations, said that Schlumberger Oil Services is one of the largest oil companies in the world in terms of size, number of employees and number of departments. It was established 90 years ago. The main company is located in North Rumaila. It is looking for a certain class of students who excel academically and scientifically and who have communication and work skills, and its main objective is to employ graduate students and encourage students to strive to get jobs. The students were tested and interviewed by Ahmed Aktham Taha, director of employment and university relations, and Samer Hussein Hanoun, director of prevention.
