The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held the annual graduation research conference for the academic year 2017/2018 in the Hall of Martyr Asaad Selim in the Classrooms Complex of the College of Engineering, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Rabie Hashem Thajeel, and a central committee of college professors and professors supervising the projects

Dr. Basem Talib, the administrative assistant to the Dean of the College of Engineering, stated that 15 distinguished researches were discussed in various engineering disciplines. The students presented their scientific products before the jury composed of college professors, including all disciplines to choose the best three distinguished projects. On the other hand, the field was opened by asking questions after the presentation of the project The discussion aims to review the outcomes of the graduation projects and highlight the creativity and talents of the distinguished students and put their basin on the implementation table to benefit from them in developing and activating projects to build Iraq.

The Dean of the College of Engineering stated that this conference was held in line with the direction of our college with the aim of raising the skill of the engineer, paying attention to the scientific level of students, and preparing administrative and leadership personalities capable of serving the community.
