Within the memorandum of understanding signed between University of Basrah and Basra Gas Company, the top students for the first and second stages of electrical, mechanical and chemical engineering departments were honored by Basra Gas Company. May, and on behalf of the College of Engineering, the Dean of the College, Prof. Ramzy Salim Ali, and the heads of the scientific departments attended.
The President of University of Basrah indicated that the honor came in order to create a spirit of competition among students and to take care of the first students by the company for the purpose of qualifying them to work in the future within the company’s staff.
