A master's thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah discussed the optimization of radiation formation for modulation antenna systems based on the corrosion propagation behavior.
The thesis presented by student Hussein Abdel Dayem dealt with the study of a new optimization algorithm that can improve the beam radiation of linear and planar modulation antennas with high efficiency, called CDOA. It uses electrochemical redox reactions. The general performance of the algorithm was compared with some other important algorithms through some standard measurement equations. CDOA was also applied to solve some Problems with the radiation of the shaping antenna beam by optimizing the magnitudes of the excitation current vector in the antenna and/or the spacing between the shaping elements.
The thesis concluded that CDOA has better performance than other algorithms in solving unimodal equations regardless of the variable dimensions. On the other hand, it provides the best multimodal optimization solution for variable dimensions less than or equal to 20.
