The doctoral thesis of the student Zain al-Din Saeed Abdul Rahman was discussed at the University of Basra, College of Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering. It discusses high-performance encryption systems using chaotic systems with fractional orders. The thesis included that some applications of chaotic systems, such as secure communications and encryption systems, require new systems constantly, so it was proposed And an analysis of many new chaotic systems with fractional orders with different dynamic behaviors, which were analysed, simulated and implemented electronically using analog circuits and microcontrollers. After that, a secure communications system was designed based on these proposed systems, and chaotic systems of the mem-elements type with fractional orders were developed, tested, analysed, simulated, and implemented electronically. Finally, based on chaotic systems of the mem-elements type, encryption systems were designed to encode color and regular images. The researcher concluded that all the proposed chaotic systems are characterized by their very simple behavior, simplicity, and can be implemented in practice at very low cost. The results of standard tests to analyze the confidentiality and efficiency of the proposed communications and encryption systems that were obtained showed that these systems are characterized by high confidentiality, excellent efficiency, and high resistance to various types of attacks. And pirates.
