Under the patronage of the President of the University of Basra, Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, the College of Engineering at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Basra University of Oil and Gas, College of Oil and Gas Engineering, held a scientific competition entitled Future Engineers Competition 2023 at the University of Basra, College of Engineering Hall. The martyr Dr. Asaad Salim Abdel Qader. The competition included several topics in the field of engineering that were competed over among the 12 teams. The competition consisted of 3 rounds between 12 teams, each team consisting of 3 members.
The questions varied between quick questions, options, and the use of the bell, and included the use of aids and punishments.
The competition aims to spread the spirit of competition and demonstrate skills and teamwork among the competing teams
