The University of Basra holds an intellectual symposium for the Thaqalayn Cultural Center

The College of Engineering at the University of Basra, in cooperation with the Holy Shrine of Hussein, represented by the Al-Thaqalain Cultural Center affiliated with the Division of Islamic Studies and Research, held an intellectual guidance symposium, which is one of a series of symposiums that will be held later in all eight departments of the college. Today’s symposium was entitled (Guiding university students to strengthen their bonds... Respect, university and family love). The symposium, which was held in the Mechanical Engineering Department, included the presence of the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Hassanein Ibrahim Khalaf, the Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Osama Jassim Naeem, and a group of the department’s students. Where Mr. Dr. Hassoun Al-Battat spoke about the amount of situations that a person experiences in his daily life, which require a consistent approach in dealing with them. Also, it is not possible to limit the amount of situations that a person experiences on a daily basis through his dealings with his colleagues and with his family, which require a clear approach in which he deals with their differences and diversity. . Mr. Al-Battat added: Indeed, it is not possible to count the situations that every one of us must have gone through and in which he felt that he must have basic rules by which to act so that he can judge his behavior, and that the nation begins to lose its identity when its youth deviate from authentic morals and behaviors, so the youth must be supported.
