The University of Basra organizes a scientific visit to the churches of the city of Basra

The Department of Architecture at the University of Basra, College of Engineering, organized a scientific visit to the Chaldean Church and the Armenian Church in the city of Basra
The visit comes within the history of architecture subject to meet the vocabulary of the curriculum of the first semester of the subject related to church architecture at the dawn of Christianity.
The visit was accompanied by a staff teaching the history of architecture subject for the third stage.

The visit aims to introduce the students to the style of church architecture and the architectural elements that make up it, in addition to informing them of the main spaces that make up the church and how to accommodate the function within these spaces. The visit also aims to document churches as one of the heritage symbols that make up the architectural identity of the city of Basra.
