The Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Basra, in cooperation with the Student Activities Unit, organized a five-a-side football tournament on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the College of Engineering Stadium, with the participation of (16) teams from the division’s stages, with an individual scoring system.
The first match took place between the third team, Control, which defeated the second team, E, with a score of 6 to 3.
The second match was between the 2nd B team, which defeated the 4th Evening studying team with a score of 7 to 2. The Student Activities Officer said that this year is full of sports, artistic, cultural and community activities that aim to raise awareness and modify students’ behavior and develop their personalities through teamwork, learning responsibility and adhering to the laws to face their professional lives in the future.
