The Student Activities Unit at the College of Engineering, University of Basra organized a training course in plastic arts with the participation of a number of students from the College of Engineering.
The training course included a lecture delivered by Ms. Hoda Ali, which included a detailed explanation of the term plastic art on the various creations that can be seen, including artistic paintings, through a visual experience, as they evoke a certain feeling in the viewer.

Mr. Yasser Abdullah researched the most important forms of plastic art, including Arabic calligraphy
Arabic calligraphy letters have the ability to rise, descend, unfold, and have the flexibility to change their shapes. Therefore, Arabic calligraphy is considered a plastic art.
