The Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, University of Basra concluded its five-a-side football tournament in the College of Engineering Stadium on the fourth day of March.
24 teams participated in the tournament, each team representing its own section, and each team containing 10 players, which means 240 students from the section participated in this tournament.
The final round was between: (3rd C & 2nd D) The match is ended with the victory of (2nd D) and obtaining the first place award in the tournament with a score of (5_2) . Student Ali Mansour won Best Player in the Tournament Award, Student Muhammad Al-Baqir Raed won Top Scorer Award in the Tournament, and Student Mortada Mazher won Best Goalkeeper in the Tournament Award.
