The College of Engineering, University of Basra, received a delegation from the Chinese cosl Company, Iraq branch. The delegation was received by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, the Head of the Petroleum Engineering Department, Dr. Hisham Kazem Hashem, and Dr. Khaled Mahdi Abdul Hassan. The Chinese delegation consisted of Mr. Wang Yang, Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed, and Mr. Zhang Rang. He is from the Administration and Human Resources Department.
The visit included an agreement to prepare a program to train and employ graduates from the College of Engineering by conducting job interviews during the company’s next visit.
The visit also aims to strengthen relations between the College of Engineering, University of Basra and the Chinese company cosl, in a way that serves the university and students.
