Within the training and development agreement between the College of Engineering, University of Basra, and the China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corporation (CPECC), the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, received a delegation from the Chinese company SEPAC (CPECC), headed by Ms. Wen Xu Yijun, Assistant Chairman of the Chinese company. The meeting also included discussing ways to develop relations between the College of Engineering and the Chinese company and developing the agreement signed between the two parties in a way that serves the interests of the university, the College of Engineering, and graduates by increasing the number of those accepted to work for the company.
