The Dean of the College of Engineering, University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, met with postgraduate students on the occasion of the start of the new academic year 2024/2025. At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the College welcomed the students, wishing them a busy academic year. Then, the Dean of the College gave his directives to the students, including the necessity of adhering to a set of important and necessary instructions, in addition to the matters that the student must know and be aware of, including the specified and specified period for the student's study in postgraduate studies starting from the day of commencement, continuous attendance at lectures, in addition to continuous communication with supervisors, as it serves the student's interest first.

At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College of Engineering wished success and excellence to the postgraduate students in serving our country.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Munir Abdul Jalil Ismail, and the Director of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Osama Jassim Naeem.
