With more sadness and sorrow, we received the news of the death of Prof. Dr. Hamid Al-Saidi, former dean of the College of Engineering, and a   prominent figure from the University of Basra, who passed away on Thursday the 16th of December in Dallas, USA  There are no words that express what is inside us of  losing dear to us all, and we can only accept the judgment of God and his destiny Patience and solace for the family of the deceased and all his friends
