The Department of Civil Engineering at the College of Engineering - University of Basra received first-stage students accepted for the academic year 2024-2025. The committee in charge of interviewing the students accepted within the central admission and parallel education explained the most important features of university education and special controls and instructions. And urged them to adhere to the uniform and all university instructions.

After that.. The head of the interview committee, Professor Dr. Saleh Issa Khasaf, conducted an introductory tour for them in the Department of Civil Engineering by touring the engineering laboratories and computer laboratories and introducing them to the locations and numbers of the classrooms and student lounges.. The students expressed their thanks and great satisfaction with this reception and learning about all the details of the department and the college.
