The College of Engineering, University of Basra, Department of Petroleum Engineering, organized a scientific visit to Schlumberger Company for fourth-year students, accompanied by Dr. Rafeh Ahmed Abdullah and the teaching staff in the Oil Department.
The visit included getting to know the company's departments and meeting with the company's working staff. The students also got to know the main and secondary machines in the company.
The purpose of the visit is to learn about the latest technologies available for oil well sensors. Specifically, the field of open and lined cavity sensors Open hole and cased hole logging.
