A master's thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah discussed (Seismic evaluation of a reinforced concrete building using nonlinear static thrust analysis)

The thesis submitted by the student Shefaa Nazeel Abdul-Hussein dealt with the study of the impact of various factors or changes that occur on an existing concrete building in southern Iraq in the city of Basrah after construction, represented by the removal or addition of structural elements. Linear, and the building was analyzed using the non-linear static thrust method if the number of shear walls was reduced if the building was without setback and also if the location of the weak floor was changed.
