A master’s thesis at the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah discussed (analysis and comparison of pulse width inclusion for an unconventional multilevel modulator inverter)
The thesis presented by the student, Adalah Odeh Abd Ali, dealt with the study of presenting three types of unconventional multi-level inverters, as the circuit structure and its components were accurately described in terms of type and number. Each type to obtain the required output levels as well as to distinguish the difference in the number of components compared to the traditional type. The main control mechanism was explained by presenting two types of control circuits and an explanation of how they work and distinguish each circuit
The thesis aims to develop a special type of multi-level inverter called an unconventional type that was distinguished over the previous by adopting the principle of reducing the number of its components in order to obtain voltage levels similar to the traditional type.
The thesis concluded that the circuits were designed according to the types of inverters, the number of output levels, and thus the output drawing of each type of circuit came to determine the results of each of THD and efficiency, and to identify the output power and voltage losses, and then compare all these results with the results of the traditional types whose results made a measure to give an idea The benefits of using the unconventional type The last part of the work included monitoring the circuit's response to the sudden change in the load as the load increased dramatically at one time
