A professor in Basrah University published a research in one of the authentic scientific periodical

Mr. Mohammed Naser, one of the instructors in the College of Engineering-University  of Basrah, published a research in Case studies in thermal Engineering titled Evaluation and Analysis of Heat Transfer in Heat Exchangers by using nano fluids (Graphene).
The research included an imperical trial to study the effect of Graphene Nano fluids on heat transfer by thermal load in heat exchangers. The Nano Graphene was made by using the Graphite foam derived from sugar as raw material. The prepared nano material was evaluated by using the electronic microscope and X-ray  and Roman Spectra. The nano Graphene fluid was used on the side of the heat exchange tube to consolidate heat transfer performance. Different standards were studied to check their effect on heat transfer. The purpose of the research is that nano fluids attract great attention in practical scientific fields because of their effective thermal and physical characteristics.
It has been found that Graphene nano fluids consolidates the thermal exchanger performance. The highest increase of the heat transfer vector reached 29% by using 0.2% of the graphene. The average of the thermal efficiency of the thermal exchanger has also been improved by 13.7%.
