The Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Basra branch, represented by Dr. Hussein Ali Al-Eidani, the assistant dean at the University of Oil and Gas and the Academics Syndicate, Dr. Dhiaa Al-Fikaiki, a member of the Basrah University Council and the Vice-President of the Academics Syndicate, held the elections for the union’s representative for the College of Engineering at the University of Basrah, on Thursday 24/3/2022. As the results resulted in the selection of Dr. Ammar Jassim, a teacher in the Department of Civil Engineering, as a representative of the college. Where the Deanship and members of the college congratulated Dr. Ammar Jassim for his election as a representative of the college, wishing him success in his new union activity along with his scientific and academic endeavor.
