The College of Engineering at the University of Basrah held a seminar entitled Programmatic Accreditation of the Departments of the College of Engineering It was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Jassem Dakhil, a lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering and Director of the Continuing Education Division in the College of Engineering, during which the plan for obtaining programmatic accreditation for the departments of the College of Engineering was reviewed and the steps that were adopted in the study of the current reality and clarification of strengths and weaknesses and the college plan to obtain programmatic accreditation. The college plan was also approved, which included sending applications for accreditation next May in order to obtain accreditation next October.
